Andy Reid Time Clock is Ticking

-->
Jeffrey Lurie stated in a press conference at the state of the team address that 8-8 was unacceptable for this season. Although there is no clear definition on what it will take for the Andy Reid regime to end in Philadelphia there are speculations. We all know 8-8 will definitely force Lurie to make some moves in the organization. Will he move Andy Reid. I highly doubt Philadelphia will ever see the fire of Reid. If Lurie makes any moves it will be in a lateral transfer of Reid to the Eagles front office, and it will be Reid’s decision if he would take the offer or decide to walk for Philadelphia. Marty and Castillo will both be in the hot seat and 8-8 in my opinion will lead in the termination of their services.

As the season has played on the city has seen plenty of old familiar Andy Reid style of Football, but I have observed one difference. I see Andy Reid with a sense of urgency. Andy Reid knows this will be his last chance as a coach for the Eagles. Andy has been very emotional during games and has shown a tad bit more animation on the sidelines. I have also seen Reid take chances while usually Andy is known to play it safe. Whether or not Andy will be gone at the end of the season will be the talk of the town until D-day in the off-season, but one thing is for sure if the Eagles do not turn the season around after the bye week Andy’s chances will be slim to none.

Philly will Loath in Reid Fatigue

-->

The Philadelphia Eagles are 3-3 with a bye week in their hands. Two weeks to analyze what is going wrong and fix their mistakes. 3-3 to many teams would be a blessing, but for the Eagles with such aspirations from a team with explosive weapons. This Eagles team could easily be a 0-6 team as they have won 3 by a hair. Andy Reid is undefeated after a bye week, but in a city with major Reid fatigue the fans of Philadelphia probably could care less about his bye record. For years the city has pleaded to owner Jeffrey Lurie to move on from the Reid era, and it looks like this city just might get what they have been asking for. It does not look like the Philadelphia Eagles can get this team together. So many mistakes and just “Bad Football” week after week, and a QB that just cant seem to remember what team he belongs to while on the field. Unless Reid can turn this team around in the second half (which I do not see it happening) the city of Philadelphia will get themselves a new coach. Now I always say be careful of what you ask for as I fear Reid might go, but a Reid disciple could take his seat and well where would the change come from.

Sports World Here I Come

-->

Welcome to my Cyber spot, but beware, as this page will come with lots of passion when it comes to Philadelphia sports. Here you will experience the sports world through my eyes. Although I love my Philly sports I will be as critical, objective, and as neutral as I can to give the best insights, analysis, and updates. You will agree with me many times, and others you will be dead against what I have to say. I welcome all to comment, debate, and let’s rant.

A little about me, I am 33 years old, born and raised in the City of Brotherly Love “Philadelphia.” Yes Dallas Sucks and so do the NY Giants. I currently attend Full Sail University and I am 11 months away from my BS in Sports Marketing and Media. I am a total sports nut, but my passion lies with Philly Sports. I am not a big college guy, so you will rarely see anything on college sports.  I moved to Jacksonville Florida in December of 2011 and well I am getting my taste of SEC sports here, so maybe I will gain some more knowledge on College sports, but still work in progress.

My goal is to make my name known through out the sports world. I want to be a presence and a playmaker in the sports business and media industry. Remember David Berrios, as I will make my mark. I will work as hard as I need to so that my dream will become reality. Watch out Sports World Here I Come.  Lets Go Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and 76ers!!!!!
